We cannot thank you enough for such an incredible evening! Yall made the party and SO many people have commented on how this was the best band they’ve ever heard! I have never danced so much in my life! It was such a blast- truly no words- everyone had the BEST time! Please let the entire band know how amazingly talented they are and how extraordinarily grateful Dave and I are to you all for giving us and our guests an absolutely epic night! I’m still on cloud 9 from the best night ever thanks to yall and won’t be coming down for a while! Thank you thank you thank you!

Wow! We have attended about 12 weddings in the past couple of years and hosted two. The Atlanta Showstoppers are on a whole different level! They knocked it out of the park! The guys who lead the Second Line from the church to our home really got the party started and it only got better and better as the evening progressed! I just want to thank you for making our daughter's wedding last weekend the spectacular party it was. There is no party without GREAT music and you and the Atlanta Showstoppers provided that!! The dance floor was packed all evening, right to the very last song. Everyone commented on the amazing band all night long and we are still fielding calls and emails from guests who want to know who you are and how to find you. The singers for the ceremony (and the acoustic guitar, which you suggested) were AMAZING. Just amazing. They far surpassed anything we were imagining. One of your singers posted a video of their rehearsal and Jess and I keep watching it on a loop. They brought an exquisite intimacy to the ceremony. I honestly don't have words adequate to explain how magnificent I thought they were.

Showstoppers are amazing and everything went well. They worked with us in a possible changing timeline because of the weather but in the end we ended up pretty much on time and they kept people on the floor the whole time. I have actually never seen that happen the way it did with them. They don't just sound great, they are great visually and everyone was kind and friendly. I definitely will recommend them and I don't normally do that with out of town groups. Thank you too for your patience with me and all your help. WE DID IT!!!

Absolutely amazing! As a wedding photographer, I have had the honor of working with a lot of bands, but the Atlanta Showstoppers made a huge impression. These guys (and girls!) have some crazy pipes, an amazing brass section, a pianist who can play even Elton John’s craziest ditties, and a drummer who manages to keep the whole show going without missing a beat (pun intended). I know that as a wedding vendor, I can only hope to work with them again because the photos I shot tonight showed a huge group of people having the MOST fun ever, and that’s always the goal!

What a night it was! The Atlanta Showstoppers, once again, did not disappoint! Not only was the music fantastic, but their interaction with our guests was amazing! Rick, Glenn, and the rest of the Atlanta Showstoppers! Hands down, best band I’ve EVER seen or heard PERIOD. We know that y’all blow it out of the water in general, but for a wedding y’all are LEGENDARY! Everyone we’ve encountered since the wedding said that our band was one of their favorite parts about our wedding and that they’ve never been to a wedding with a better band! In a word, the Atlanta Showstoppers were fabulous – or maybe I should say magnificent – or stupendous! Glenn and Eliza picked “This Will Be” to be the 1st song after the Mother-Son Dance – and the entire dance floor was packed in about 15 seconds! And it stayed that way for the whole night – until they closed with Eliza and Chris up on stage dancing to “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”!! Eliza said that her only regret was that she didn’t want to get up on the stage, because she knew that that meant that the night was coming to a close. And she didn’t want it to ever end! Neither did anyone else – as witnessed by how many of our family and friends were still there for the final Fireworks send-off! As I think you know, The Showstoppers 1st really caught my attention at Diana’s wedding - when they played “I Told You So”. I was totally convinced that one of the singers must be Janice’s daughter because they did it so perfectly. So I was surprised when Carolyn told me that they had just learned that song for Carolyn for Diana’s wedding – and I was even more surprised when the Showstoppers played at a wedding in Linville last September, and Glenn told me that not only had they played it for the 1st time at your wedding, but they had never played it since. I told Glenn that he really should add it to their Song list – which he has – but the real point is that it just shows how incredibly talented they are. And of course “I Told You So” was one of many, many “Songs of the Night” on Saturday night. They are really amazing!! So in my book, you all get a big part of the credit for helping to pick the band for Eliza’s wedding. Other than walking her down the aisle – picking the band was really my only other job – besides paying the bills. And picking Glenn and the Atlanta Showstoppers was a complete no-brainer. Can’t imagine how a party with any other band could compete with their show. It was fabulous/magnificent/stupendous!! Thanks for introducing us to the Showstoppers!

Omigoodness we had high expectations and they exceeded them! The dance floor was packed every minute, with guests of all ages, many of whom met on the dance floor. The band captured the JOY of this wedding perfectly. The band managed the special moments beautifully; the First dance, Father-Daughter, and Mother-Son dances were each uniquely suited and beautifully orchestrated. I especially want to take the time to thank you for a performance that made us all feel like family! Your engaging nature with every guest made it so extra intimate and special. And you were so gracious to welcome William ( and eventually everyone else) on stage. I know he had a blast accompanying you. You gave my father a whole new lease on life with the energy he felt from everyone on stage! I don't know if you knew this, but the gold lame jacket William was wearing was from my Dad's "bandstand days" as Casey Robbins and the Diplomats in the 50's and 60's. Dad had no idea William was going to wear it...he had tears in his eyes. And you guys helped to create a moment we will never forget. Please tell all of your lead vocalists, especially your ladies, they made his night with their serenades. All he talked about the next day was those beautiful girls and that awesome band..what wedding? :) He was so impressed and that says alot from a jazz purist. Finally, the warmth you showed to John and Katy the entire evening was just endearing. Katy loved it! We all did. So sorry you couldn't get more volume from John's "awesome" comments :) ..but trust us, in John's finest fashion, we knew he was taking it all in with heartfelt joy. They want to do it all over again. I hope to see you guys again soon..for now, please know I will never hesitate to recommend you guys to all of my friends, just as we did to Suzy and Matt who made it all possible.

The Atlanta Showstoppers were even more amazing than we hoped for.  I don't think there are enough adjectives in the dictionary to describe their penultimate performance. I can't thank all of you enough for the performance you guys and ladies put on at Katie's wedding at the Coral Bay Club. We have been deluged with cards and phone calls about what a great time everyone had, especially commenting on how great the band was and how they really made the whole thing work.I have been around bands and music for about 50 years (telling my age now) in clubs, at weddings and other rites of passage, and I have never seen a performance or a crowd responding to a show like I saw at the reception. It could not have been any better performed, song list compiled, or just plain fun for every body there. Even Katie's boss, Congressman Holding was seen tapping his feet and attempting to dance. For a Washington Republican, that's something. Your horns were tight, rhythm section great, vocals fantastic, and your leadership and keeping everything going was magnificent. People don't know what it takes to put on a performance like the Showstoppers did and you guys aced it in spades.Finally, I can't tell you what it meant to me when the band hit "Rubberband Man." We were in the front of the stage with Katie and friends and all of a sudden, the crowd parted and her brother Reed came flying out and jumping into the music. It was the first time in five years since his surgery started, that I had seen the "old Reed" come out. He stayed in front of the stage the rest of the night, coat off, tie undone, just like the old party days (without the adult beverages). It was worth it all to see him back to the old Reed and Katie having the finest night of her life (as she told her mother later).Again, I have never heard as many compliments on a band as I have heard in the last week about the Showstoppers. Our friends from Ala, DC, Va, and NC all want to know when they can see you all again and how great everything was. It didn't hurt that music was up tempo all night and the bar tab was double the estimate. But that's OK, as everyone had a great night and your band and yourself was the main reason for everyone's enjoyment. If you ever need anything in NC, or if there is ever anything I can do to help any of you,please let me know.Thank you one and all for making Katie's wedding reception the finest thing she could ask for.

First, thank you so much for the kind words.  But Kayla and I obviously cannot thank you and the Showstoppers enough for what you contributed to our wedding.  I'm sure every couple tells you that their wedding was the best night of their lives.  Not only was that true for us, but the Showstoppers were one of the most important reasons why that was the case!   We were so thrilled and touched that you learned each of the three new songs we requested that the band play -- and those songs were some of the crowd's favorites.  I think the Taylor Swift song even got some of the caterers dancing!  While we had heard rave reviews, the band's production far surpassed even our highest expectations.  The way your singers worked with the crowd was unlike any performance we have ever seen.  And we have the photographs and video footage to prove it!  Simply put, our party would not have been half as incredible without the epic entertainment the Showstoppers provided.  We were just happy to have family and friends willing to take advantage of that on the dance floor!And I am sure you know that you don't need to take our word for it.  I can't tell you how many people have told Kayla and me how impressed they were with the band and its performance -- we lost count.  And that number continues to grow!  Some of our older guests even asked where they could see the Showstoppers "in concert" again!  We only hope that some of them had an opportunity to tell you themselves -- on that note, we're so happy you were able to meet our parents, whose night you made.  We are also excited for Cammy and Nick's wedding next spring, and would love to see the Showstoppers in action again!Please let us know if there is anything we can offer you in the future -- we would be thrilled to be able to provide any references or testimonials.  In that regard, please let us know if you need any assistance in working with our videographer to obtain video from our wedding.  And while I hope the videographer was able to capture it, even if he did not, I will never ever forget being on the stage for the set-up of "Shout." Please tell the band thank you again for everything you did for us -- especially for providing us with memories that will last for a lifetime.

Hi Glenn,I actually meant to email you this week and you beat me to it.  Here were the words from our CFO (and I quote) “ THEY WERE AWESOME!”.  So needless to say, I think everyone at the party enjoyed the band.  I’ve been to several AgSouth Christmas parties both with a dj and a band as entertainment.  This is the first time I’ve seen as many people on the dance floor.  Not only were people dancing, but they started dancing fairly quickly into the set and stayed on the dance floor all night.We originally were looking to book Party on the Moon because they played at an AgFirst function and we heard they were great.  They ended up being over our budget and we were told  the Showstoppers were the next best in our budget.  After hearing the Showstoppers, I can’t imagine how any band could cost twice as much and deliver a better performance then we got.I’ve got to say from top to bottom all of your band members performances were awesome.  The singers all sounded great and those guys in the brass section can dance. One of our co-workers wanted them brought up front because he felt like they weren’t getting the recognition they deserved (the beer might have influenced him)!  I’m glad that Kenny and the other two guys stayed back because they are way better dancers than me! All in all, it was a great night and the Atlanta Showstoppers made our event! We had a ball at the wedding. I want you and the entire band to know that every phone call, email and one-on-one conversation includes comments on how great the band was! Once the Father Daughter dance concluded the dance floor was full for the entire night. I loved the fact that we had all ages dancing from 85 year olds to the very young. Atlanta Showstoppers played for us for the third time in the last 5 months. I can honestly say that I think this is the nicest and most talented band I have used. They had the dance floor full the entire night from the first dance to the last. The crowd was begging for more! They are brilliant with their playlist, they are timely, they are nice, and they do everything and more that I ask of them. At one point during the band's break, Glenn Carvin helped me hand out blankets to guests that were cold! Who does this? Well the Atlanta Showstoppers do it all! The Hagans and every guest will testify to the amazing energy and fun they created. I will always lead with Atlanta Showstoppers when I propose a band for any function - they go above and beyond. Do you know that Glenn contacts my clients when they sign the contract to thank them? Do you know that he actually looks at timelines and suggests things that will go better for the event even if it means they miss a break or play a little longer? This band is first rate! I love them!
