DJ SHELLEY MADE OUR WEDDING WEEKEND!! My husband is from Bogota Colombia, and I am from Richmond, Virginia our families were coming together for the first time and making sure we had music from both cultures was a big stressor. We used Shelly for our the Welcome Party to kickoff our wedding weekend and then again for the Late Night Latino Dance Party that we had after the reception. She created two completely different and equally AMAZING dance experiences that included Latino and US top party hits. She was the most talked about part of the wedding and even had my parents on the dance floor untill 1AM. If you need a DJ for your wedding you must book DJ Shelly. I cannot thank her enough for bringing so much life and wonderful music to our wedding weekend. Thank you DJ Shelley! We will always remember the DJ with the glow-in-the-dark angel wings!

Doc's band knows and plays just about everything, but focuses on the works of such giants as Cab Calloway, George Gershwin and Irving Berlin."— Larry Fox, The Washington Post"Scantlin's all arms and elbows, a nutty herky-jerky Looney Tunes cartoon of a conductor...showbiz schtick aside, Scantlin stands out from the big-band bunch."—Joe Brown, The Washington Post"The first person to appear for a Washington D.C. concert was a mohawked punker later judged less weird than Scantlin."— Russ DeVault, The Atlanta Journal"The World's Best Band"- Forbes magazine"Dazzling, glamorous, five-star"- W magazine"Scantlin is the consummate showman. Chou Chou's breathy croon recalls Marilyn Monroe and Betty Boop. One of the most fascinating nights out in Washington."- The Washington Post"The hottest act in town"- Dossier magazine"Featuring that irresistible and man-withering lovely, the divine Chou Chou."- WAMU Hot Jazz"Alexandra Miller's birthday party was a dazzling, glamorous, five-star affair. The wild band, Doc Scantlin and His Imperial Palms, came from Washington, D.C. and brought three fabulous flapper girls to entertain, Twenties style."- W Magazine (Suzy's Column)
