My mom told me this morning that the dance floor couldn’t fit the whole crowd, especially when you got it going with September. Kustom Made is one of my very favorite bands ever. As a planner, I have used them for MANY weddings over the past couple of years since I first used them - and hear nothing but rave reviews each time! I specifically recommended them for this wedding - my son’s- because of their track record with me. I booked them for a wedding next year as well - Lesmes- 9/27/25 and the family attended our wedding and are over the moon excited to have Tony and the Kustom Made Band as their band. From an the booking agency side of things, Reid was a joy to work with! He was professional, quick to respond, helpful when we had to postpone our wedding and gave incredible suggestions! Highly recommend working with him and can't wait to work with him in the future! In addition, Kustom Made was the absolute highlight of our wedding weekend! The band was INCREDIBLE - a true performance band that brought the fun and energy throughout our entire reception! They were able to read the crowd so well and never let the energy drop which kept the dance floor busy all night long! Kustom Made was absolutely amazing!!! They kept the crowd on their feet all night - including me and my husband, which is what we wanted. I had at least 50 different people tell me they were the best wedding band they'd ever heard. They were so fun, engaging and really nailed the tone for what we wanted the party to be. I made sure to share their name with anyone who asked. I am SO pleased with them and how everything turned out. Tony was the main person I spoke to throughout the night and he was an absolute pleasure to work with.

OMG. THEY WERE THE BEST!!! Everyone was dancing....all ages! It was a wedding reception and they helped with announcements etc. Made it so fun, almost too fun. Hard to have them stop for the cake!! There is such a thing as set it and forget it about your wedding. We hired Kustom Made a couple weeks after getting engaged (do it ASAP, they go quick) and all the other small planning along the way seems so silly to stress about in hind sight. When the night goes off and you've hired Kustom Made, you and your guests will never leave the dance floor!

We could not have been happier with the professionalism, song choice, charisma, vibe, and performance chops from Kustom Made for our wedding. The bandleader Tony was always reachable and flexible in meeting our song and timing needs for the big day - great communication all around. We had an outdoor black tie wedding ceremony & reception in the DC-area with a wide age-range of guests. The band played an array of hits that kept everyone on their feet the entire night. Great song selection (can learn a tune or two with plenty of advance notice), helpful in MC'ing the night and keeping us on our time targets - overall a great experience working with the group.

Kustom Made performed for the Gypsy Club, a long standing social club dating back to 1889, on May 13, 2017 at the Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, VA. From a pre-show coordinating and business standpoint, the band leader, Tony Johnson, was professional and easy to work. He stayed in contact with me and was very receptive to the needs and expectations of our club. Although, little did we know how much they would ultimately far exceed our expectations. One of the most impressive aspects of this band was the range of their song catalog and how they tailored it to suit the vibe of our group, literally playing off the energy in the room throughout the entire evening. Their horn section was second to none and added a layer of soulfulness and sophistication you don’t find with other bands. As the event coordinator, I received numerous comments about how amazing and fun the band was. Several even said this was the best dance they had ever attended. If you need a party for a wedding, reunion, anniversary, birthday or any special occasion you want to be really special…count on Kustom Made to “make” it memorable!

We had Kustom Made play at our June 18 wedding in Richmond, Virginia and they were amazing! They were organized, professional and played the type of music we requested. The dance floor was packed the entire day/night. Not only did they sound amazing, they had lots of special touches - like having the groom and groomsmen join them to sing "My Girl," letting the father of the groom play the drums and letting the bride join the female singers for Taylor Swift's "Shake it Off." They even did an "encore" of a Bruno Mars song to end the night on a high note. The band was incredibly talented (singers and instrumentalists) and was able to perform so many different songs (and they all sounded perfect). They played everything from Motown, to Bruno Mars, to Taylor Swift, to Gloria Estefan to Etta James and Michael Jackson. We had the time of our lives and Kustom Made truly helped "make" the wedding with their great energy and talent. We HIGHLY recommend them!!!!

Kustom Made was a first class band! They were responsive via email, text, and phone leading up to the event. Tony worked with myself and my family to create the perfect set list for our reception. One guest commented that it looked a "band from The Tonight Show". The horns were amazing as well as the vocal. They dressed to the nines for our black tie event. Quite simply, they made the reception.

Every detail we asked of the band was adhered to and every member was friendly helping to make my daughter's special wedding celebration even more special. We requested the band not take a break once the party began. Because they continued playing without a full band break, the dance floor was full the entire night. We stumbled upon Kustom Made when our previous band cancelled on us a few months before our wedding, and thank goodness for that! We could not have been happier with the results! Kustom Made Band played at my daughter's wedding this past Saturday, September 27, 2014.  As they played on the beautiful Albemarle Sound at Mulberry Hill Inn, they proved they were all that they claimed to be and more! They are extremely gifted musicians.  They have a varied group of vocalists who are all talented... male and female.   They played the bride and grooms' requested songs without a glitch.  They entertained the guests.  They added to the love that was already there, for they are a genuinely kind and caring group of performers. Tony, the lead vocalist, became a special friend, for he took such a sincere interest in making this day extra special for my daughter. Kustom Made was our wedding band and all I can tell you is I couldn't have asked for anyone or anything better. My husband and I live in NYC so we felt like we were taking a BIG leap booking a Va Beach band without hearing them live first. NOT A PROBLEM. They have two strengths: 1) They are talented. They can play and sing with the best of them 2) Their song list is very diverse. They can weave from Elton John's "Your Song" (our first dance) to Michael Jackson to Journey to Motown to Beyonce without a hitch. Simply put, they're amazing. You're in good hands with Kustom Made.
