LEGACY

Candice and the Legacy Band were the PERFECT party starters for Julianne + Jack’s wedding at Jasna Polana. I worked with Candice the final month leading up to the wedding in the capacity of a day-of wedding coordinator and, of course, throughout the event itself. Candice was an absolute GEM — clearly communicating her and her team’s needs and expectations while also being flexible with the hopes of the couple. As timelines adjusted throughout the event, we were so in tune, resulting in a seamless transition from cocktail hour, to reception, through dinner, toasts, and dances. And the band!! Oh my gosh, they were fabulous! So much energy, such fabulous vocalists, talented musicians, and in sync sound team. It truly seemed like the vibes kept flowing throughout the night — Jules + Jack were on the dance floor ALL NIGHT, which is all a coordinator can hope for. We are so happy that we booked Legacy for our wedding band at the Jasna Polana! They kept the party going all night long and we received so many compliments on how amazing our band was throughout the night! I provided them with several must play songs and they filled in the gaps seamlessly to make the night flow! One thing that I loved that they did was they performed slower songs throughout dinner service for a nice romantic ambiance. They also had a phenomenal stage presence and came out into the crowd on several occasions which helped excite the crowd. We had the most amazing evening with Legacy and could not recommend them more highly. The band has incredible range, playing everything from Motown/disco hits, to classic rock, to contemporary pop, and everything in between. Their ability to play off each other, gauge the crowd, and seamlessly transition to the next song is an art form. They personally learned and played our parent dances to perfection, which meant so much to the both of us. We contracted the band for our cocktail hour as well, which included a smooth duet set and during the dinner hour several vocalists gave solo background performances which were extraordinary. Needless to say, the 13-piece ensemble together kept the dance floor full all night long to the point where nobody wanted the party to end. Their band leader, Candice, was extremely communicative and easy to work with. If we could turn back time and run it back with them again, we absolutely would. You NEED Legacy at your wedding. Nothing beats a live band, but truly no one can top Legacy. From the moment we booked, I knew we were in good hands. BOOK LEGACY!!! From the start, they were so easy to work with—Candice was amazing, super approachable and friendly, laid-back, and made everything feel so seamless! One of our favorite moments was when they played the Penn State Zombie Nation song. Legacy was the absolute best wedding band! We got married on September 21, 2024 and Legacy catered to our every request. They played a variety of music that kept guests up and moving and ensured that the dance floor was full from start to finish. Candice was a perfect emcee and kept the energy up from our entrances through the end of the night. Candice was very responsive in the lead up to the wedding and made all of the planning a breeze. She helped us to pick the schedule for the night to optimize dancing time. W were also able to choose a new song for the band to learn! Legacy did not take any breaks throughout the entire dinner and dancing period, which allowed us to have non-stop live music from start to finish. They also communicated directly with our wedding venue to ensure that the entire night was seamless. We customized wedding t-shirts and they even agreed to throw them out to our guests during their set! They had everyone singing along all night. Legacy Band was fantastic at our wedding. It seemed like every guest I spoke to the night of the wedding went out of their way to mention how great the band was. My husband found the booking agency after attending a gala through his work, and was adamant about trying to get them to play at our wedding. We were so lucky to be connected with Legacy - they by far were the best choice we made for our wedding. We were married on 12/1/23, and almost two months later, we are still getting compliments on our band. They were amazing to work with. Candice really knew how to construct a timeline for our reception so that it flowed smoothly. They knew exactly how to read a room, and played songs that had everyone dancing all night. They are beyond talented, nailing every song they played. They learned “Purple Rain”, one of my husband’s favorite songs, and he still says that was his favorite part of the whole day. I truly can’t say enough good things about them - just know you are in good hands, and your big day will be even more memorable because of them! As a side note, my husband and I managed to see them play several times leading up to the big day, and that was our favorite part of wedding planning. They bring such an energy to whenever they go, and provided us with amazing night outs during the stress of wedding planning. I would highly recommend that if you are able to see them! The band's energy was AMAZING, the musicians and vocalists crushed it and had such a wide range they could basically play anything! Their outfits were awesome and they even had some set choreo! Really they went above and beyond, Candice was an amazing "MC," making sure we hit all of our key events (bouquet toss, cake cutting, anniversary dance, etc.). They brought such an amazing element to our wedding, everyone was truly on the dance floor all night, even people who never dance. We couldn't keep people OFF the dance floor even to eat their dinner! While their performance the day of was flawless, I also need to give them credit for the entire planning process ahead of time. If I could give a 6/5 stars I would - the booking agency/ Legacy were the absolute best! Not only were they super easy to work with but they kept everyone on the dancefloor all night long (which was our goal). After viewing their videos, we decided to go with Legacy as the band for our wedding. Leading up to the event, we were in contact with the band and we worked together to build a set list that kept the crowd moving literally all night. In my opinion, the band is the most important part of the reception and I was a little nervous since I had never heard them live. However, when I tell you that Legacy Band knocked my expectations out of the park, I seriously mean it! Not only were they amazing singers and musicians but they were extremely high energy and were having just as much fun performing as we were on the dance floor. Many of my guests said they were the best band they had ever heard play at a wedding and I completely agree! One of my husband’s groomsmen said when he closed his eyes, he couldn’t tell it was a cover band because they sounded so much like the original artist. Two of our favorite songs, Tiny dancer and Piano Man, were not on the bands original song list but they learned them for us, and they were huge hits! It was honestly difficult for my husband and I to go around the tables and thank our guests for coming because everyone was on the dance floor as soon as the band started playing. The night ended with all of my guests on the dance floor yelling “encore” and I would highly recommend the Legacy Band for any function if you want people to dance and have a blast!

Candice and the Legacy band were incredible. We were absolutely blown away by their performance, and a ton of our guests reached out and told us how impressed they were by the band. Our wedding day was a rollercoaster (unrelated to Legacy) and Legacy literally saved the day. Their music selection was exactly the style we wanted, and their talent is simply unmatched. Our guests were dancing all night and that was exactly what we hoped for. We are forever grateful for everything they did to make our day a blast!!!

When first looking for bands and finding Legacy we were so excited and my excitement only grew from seeing them perform throughout the night of my wedding! They are true performers who had the dance floor moving the entire night. The amount of compliments I got from my guests was outstanding. Legacy Band is the most perfect wedding band in the Philadelphia/NJ area! They were extremely easy to plan with, and flexible with all of our requests. They really set the tone for the evening & kept the party going! The dance floor was the spot to be all night long! We hired Legacy to perform at our wedding. We had SO many compliments on how amazing the band was - and they truly were amazing! We couldn't have been happier with their performance. Candice was awesome to work with ahead of time to ensure that the band knew the schedule, the songs we wanted played, etc. and they really pulled it all off perfectly! I would not hesitate to hire Legacy as your wedding band, especially if you want that big band experience. They were totally worth it!

Laura absolutely made our experience from start to finish! They are organized, professional, and all around great people! Legacy is AWESOME. We first discovered them at Harrah's in AC and quipped that they'd be killer to have for a wedding band (mostly as a joke, as we weren't even engaged and didn't know if they even did weddings). A few months later we were engaged and they were the first group we reached out to. They wound up playing at our farm wedding in July - and were stellar. They brought the energy and kept people dancing all night. They read the room and played music that our guests seemed to be vibe-ing to, and in general are just super talented artists - from the vocalists to all the instrumentalists. Sooo many of our wedding guests commented on how great they were - the day-of and for months after. Candice was an ease to work with throughout the planning process - she kept it simple but made sure all the important details were handled. The day-of logistics ran so smoothly and seemed seamless and coordinated - I'm sure much due to Legacy's experience and professionalism. I have to personally tell you that “Legacy" was PHENOMENAL at our daughter’s New Years Eve wedding. They got the party started the minute our guests walked through the door. The dance floor was filled all night long, dancing between courses. Unbelievable! My wife Amanda, and I were lucky enough to have The Legacy Band perform at our wedding. Not only was Tim easy to work with and open to our ideas, but he was good at answering our questions, insightful with new ideas, and honest about what Legacy could offer… Legacy listened to our special requests and made our wedding the spectacle we wanted it to be – a fun and exciting night for our family and friends. The dance floor was packed all night long, even playing the Eagles fight song when Swoop, mascot for the Philadelphia Eagles, participated in our wedding. Love this band! Heard them for the first time at the Buck Hotel. If you like to dance you will love this band too! The musicians are incredible! The singers are amazing! And their lead female singer, Candice, is like a little fire cracker full of energy! Can’t wait to see them again.
