Modern Luxe was the absolute best decision for our wedding! We used the booking agency for the booking process and they made it very easy and simple. Modern Luxe was the band for us! We heard them for the first time at another wedding and fell in love. The band leaders, Janelle and Ian were very responsive and flexible throughout our planning process. They hopped on several calls and emails to make sure our day went exactly how we wanted. Their performance day of did not disappoint! They fulfilled our special requests beyond our expectations. They were so fun, engaging, and professional. All of our guests raved about them to us after the fact. Thank you all for the best experience and throwing us an all night revival!

Modern Luxe absolutely nailed every song and made sure the night was as seamless as possible for our wedding. We really wanted to maximize our time on the dance floor just to hear them perform as much as possible. The only drawback is that time flew too fast with how many great songs they played, we didn’t want it to end!!! The sound, the quality, the creativity of the medleys all had the crowd raving and praising throughout the night and ever since! My wife and I cannot say enough great things about this band and the way they made the whole night a truly special and unforgettable one!!! My husband and I knew immediately when we got engaged that we wanted a band for our wedding, we viewed over 20 bands and ultimately decided to go with Modern Luxe... this was one of our best wedding decisions! They are so easy to work with, extremely responsive, and make the planning process easy! We had them DJ during our ceremony, live musicians during our cocktail hour, and the full band for our reception; the music for the whole day was perfect! They kept the dance floor packed all night and we have received countless compliments and requests for the name of our band. We can't recommend Modern Luxe Band enough! They were an absolute dream to work with, playing all the songs we love and even learning three new ones just for us. We had Modern Luxe, part of the booking agency, play at our wedding and they were absolutely AMAZING! Ryan and my number one focus for the wedding was to have a fun, packed dance floor and Modern Luxe accomplished that. They happily accommodated our request for a fun (and slightly unconventional) rendition of Mr. Brightside to close out the night, and it was PERFECT. Booking Modern Luxe for our daughter's wedding was one of the BEST decisions we made. From our first contact with two of the band musicians - Ian and Janelle - they were responsive, professional, and made us feel comfortable working with them. Two of Modern Luxe's members performed beautiful music on guitar and keyboard for the wedding ceremony and then all 7 band members (and 2 technicians) truly rocked the reception! Modern Luxe was SUCH a great wedding band. Music is a big deal to us, so picking a wedding band was difficult, but we are so happy we went with Modern Luxe. Book Modern Luxe!!!! Every member of this band is insanely talented and I was so impressed by them all day. Throughout the day the music and timing of transitions, mcing, etc was spot on. There are not enough good things to say about Modern Luxe! We had seen Modern Luxe at a friend’s wedding in 2022 and loved them so much that once we started looking at wedding venues, we reached out to them for their availability. They were even better than we remembered and blew our expectations out of the water! Modern Luxe had the dance floor packed from the start of their performance until the end of the night! At the end of the reception, they had all our guests cheering for them to keep playing. The dance floor was never empty! Modern Luxe was an absolute hit with my wedding guests! They are extremely talented and have a wide range of genres. We had acoustic guitar for our ceremony, jazz duo for cocktail hour, 9 piece band for our reception and they played music ranging from Nora Jones, Led Zeppelin, Dua Lipa, and Fall Out Boy! "Modern Luxe was one of the best choices we made for our wedding --- they are incredibly talented and really brought the energy to our dance floor, and we've been told by countless guests that they loved our band. I stumbled across them during a YouTube deep-dive of local wedding bands and immediately told my now-husband I'd found the right band. We reached out in Sept 2021 and asked if there was any opportunity to see them live before we booked. They didn't have any upcoming live shows at the time but immediately invited us to stop by one of their rehearsals, where we were greeted warmly from the moment we arrived. They played a few songs by our request, though within 30 seconds we confirmed we were sold, and then were friendly enough to all sit and get to know us for a bit. They met with us again closer to our wedding date to confirm all of our song choices for the big moments, even enthusiastically agreeing to create a surprise mash-up of my dad's song choice and a childhood favorite of ours for our father-daughter dance. On our actual wedding day, they were flawless from beginning to end. Their instrumental version of ""Helpless"" from Hamilton for my walk down the aisle instantly triggered tears. Our first dance and dance songs were perfect. Our dance floor was packed all evening, including friends and family who don't typically gravitate toward the dance floor, and we had an absolute blast. MLX even surprised us by bringing one of their singers who'd actually left the group since we'd booked because they remembered we'd felt drawn to him (though their new singer, James, is awesome, too!). You can tell that MLX really loves what they do and were genuinely invested in making sure our wedding was perfect. We can only hope that one of our friends hires Modern Luxe for their own wedding someday. Until then, we will definitely be seeking them out at one of their public shows so we can relive our perfect night over and over."

After looking at all of the positive reviews online, I found this Modern Luxe via the booking agency. The entire process of setting everything up was quick and easy. 3 weeks before our wedding, my wife and I had a zoom meeting with several of the band members (Ian and Janelle), and we discussed exactly what we wanted in terms of announcements, walkouts, and songs. The entire wedding went so well and this band did a phenomenal job! They read the crowd well, and played such a wide array of songs. At the end of the night, we made a special request to play a classic song, and they absolutely killed it! "Modern Luxe Band - WE LOVE YOU!!! Modern Luxe was the best addition to our wedding! Planning a wedding in the midst of Covid was incredibly hard, but Modern Luxe made every single process with them easy and fun, to say the least! I remember being on lock down, having absolutely nothing else to do, and I was searching for bands. I came across Modern Luxe, I loved what I saw, so I emailed them. Their agent got back to me and we had a lengthy conversation. I wanted to talk to my parents and husband though, before I made a move. Forgetting that I had already inquired, thinking I only saw their videos and remember how much I liked them, I send an email again to Modern Luxe. As everyone knows, wedding planning is insane, so I was doing so much at once. So, the agent calls again and asked if I had any additional questions. I was so confused what she meant by additional questions, because as far as I was concerned, I had never I inquired another this band! To my surprise, I inquired about the same band not two but three times! In my head, I realized, this had to be a sign that this was totally meant to be! And it absolutely was meant to be in every single aspect! After I showed my parents and husband the band, we all agreed that they were the best fit for us! They were a younger group, who sang anything and everything, from oldies to contemporary to rap to even country-we truly found our match! What was also extremely important to us in finding a band, was that the band would sing every song, and would not over DJ, since, I wanted a live band. Modern Luxe sang every single song, including our first dance song and every song before, after & in between that! To be honest, the female lead singer Janelle just brought the band to a different level in my opinion. The male lead singer Andre is just as amazing, but there was something unique about Janelle! Fast forward, I called the band around 7 am on a Saturday morning because I was confused about something. Right away, Ian, the band manager and instrument player answered the phone. From the first second we talked, we absolutely clicked, it was like we had been friends for forever. Ian ended the conversation with “here’s my cell and reach out to me anytime.” To me, that was so very important, because it showed me that this guy really cares, not only about his band members, but he actually cares about me and my wishes and he cares about putting on the best show for me, my family and my husband! You guys were the absolute best! We are still hearing over a month later from our guests how amazing your band! People are asking me how I found you guys, and I tell everyone I found them by chance and I am so happy I did! Modern Luxe, you guys made our night complete. We were terrified in the days leading up to the wedding due to the high rate of guest drop out and the ongoing pandemic, but Modern Luxe created such a safe, high energy, and fun space that we spent the evening dancing the night away. Positive isn't the proper word to describe the overall experience. Modern Luxe truly made the perfect day that much more so. Their enthusiasm, personable interaction and most importantly their SOUND was absolutely FANTASTIC! We've heard nothing but great comments from everyone at the wedding... from awesome vocals and music to the playlist to the special moments they provided to our daughter and son-in-law. Modern Luxe is a special group of people, let alone musicians. I'm sure not many of their clients ask them to play polkas, but without any hesitation, they agreed and mastered three polkas in addition to the other songs for the wedding dances. So, they went above and beyond, made the bride and groom feel special and the center of attention and clearly put an exclamation on the night!

Simply splendid!! There are not enough descriptive words to use. Magic was made and you're the reason why. From beginning to end, everyone in the band was nothing short of amazing!! With surprises around every corner, you made our night EVERYTHING. When I booked you guys and told my family and friends that I got a band instead of a DJ I got the same reaction. "You should have gotten a DJ." Every single one of those people came up to me on our wedding night and ate their words. The band was so energetic and got everyone out on the dance floor. Guests of all ages loved the music. A fire alarm went off towards the end of the night, and instead of the reception ending the band wanted to play the rest of their final set which was great and made for a perfect ending! Choosing to have Modern Luxe Band as a part of our wedding day was not only the easiest choice we made throughout the planning process but one of the best choices we made! We heard about Modern Luxe from a friend of ours whose sister had hired Modern Luxe for her wedding. We attended their band rehearsal prior to booking and knew they were the exact type of band we were looking for: Fun, entertaining, and energetic. We made it very clear that we wanted a band to keep everyone on the dance floor as much as possible and the energy up. A few weeks before our wedding date Ian reached out and was beyond helpful and engaging to plan exactly what we wanted. He was prompt with his responses and offered suggestions for anything we asked. He made the whole process very fun and very easy (for couples planning a wedding this is key) The day of everything went more perfectly than you can plan for. They were set up and ready to go without a problem. They checked in prior to wedding party entrances to make sure everything was accurate and pronounced correctly (we even made changes and they couldn't have been more accommodating.) Modern Luxe was the highlight of the whole reception. Our guests are still talking about how amazing they were and how much fun they had. The dance floor was packed the whole night! We had wedding guests dancing on stage and singing along with the band. By the end of the night everyone was begging for more songs.

Simply, the best night of our lives. From start to finish, the day/night was perfect. It started with the beautiful music at the ceremony, continued with the fantastic music at the cocktail hour, and finished with Modern Luxe keeping the dance floor packed all night long. We saw them at a wedding 3 years ago and we knew we needed them on our special day. That day, we decided we needed them at our wedding and we picked our date purely based on Modern Luxe's availability. They lived up to our expectation. The amount of compliments we got about them were overwhelming. We passed their name and contact number around to future potential wedding parties. We even had one bride jokingly say they need to cancel their band and book Modern Luxe. I hope she does because I’ll be there, front row, rocking out. Modern Luxe and the booking agency were so easy to work with. They accommodated us and even learned several songs that weren't on their list, giving that sentimental touch we wanted at certain moments. The management service were there to answer any questions for us in the planning stages before passing us off to Modern Luxe for the final touches. To Modern Luxe, we feel the need to express our most sincere gratitude. Besides my bride Shannon, you were the best part of the night. I don't think I said hello to everyone at our wedding, because simply we could not leave the dance floor. The party was non stop, which was exactly what we wanted. To all of you, thank you. Amazing. Incredible. Where did you find them? Were just some of the things we heard at our daughter's wedding. My husband and Janelle's husband work together. It was suggested that we go and give them a listen. We weren't sold on the idea of a band, until we went to a practice session. My daughters and I looked at each other and knew--Modern Luxe was it!! They took time to learn what type of music we like before deciding which songs to play or not play. It was a true pleasure to have Modern Luxe perform at our fireman's carnival fund raiser. Modern Luxe truly knows how to entertain and engage the audience. Quite simply the best wedding band I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. They have an amazing set list and their vocals are off the charts! There are not enough words to describe how incredible this band is. Ever since we saw them play at Xfinity, we knew right away they were the band for us. They have a fun, positive energy and sound so spot on. They can play anything from classics and oldies to pop, rock, and country and everything in between (at our request they played their Disney medley for our reception and it was a huge hit!). They were an absolute pleasure to work with and quite simply made our wedding amazing. They played our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and nailed all of it. All our guests are raving about what a wonderful job they did and how much fun they made the party! They learned a few songs for us specially to use for the ceremony and the first dance / reception, and tried to incorporate as many of our requests into the night as they could while still making an amazing playlist that everyone loved - the dance floor was constantly rocking and they picked the perfect final song for the night after we got a little stuck deciding. Not only are they incredibly talented musicians, they are very savvy about the crowd they are playing to and know just how to make the night perfect!
