Our experience with Souljam was outstanding. Highly recommend. Great communication leading up to the event - enjoyed working with Glenn a great deal and he was both professional and responsive Great flexibility to our unique needs - we asked for the set to build from initially catering to the older crowd, to beginning to sprinkle in songs into the setlist that might appeal to our core 40-55+ age group, before fully phasing out any oldies after the first 30-40 minutes. Great band - It's only Tuesday (3 days since event) and I've already received so much positive feedback from our membership regarding Souljam and their performance.

Souljam was absolutely phenomenal! Glenn was extremely easy to work with in the lead up and he was very accommodating of our feedback on what we wanted to hear and what we didn't want to hear. He made our lives very easy in the lead up to the day by being a great communicator and being flexible. Their performance on the day of the wedding was amazing. They sounded incredible and their performance was truly top notch. I can't tell you how many people came up to my wife and I during the reception raving about how good Souljam was. I had so many people ask me where we found Souljam and if we had ever seen them in person before because they had so much fun. Several people have reached out to me after the wedding telling us how much fun they had at the wedding and every one of them raves about Souljam. My wife and I, along with our family, could not be happier with how they turned out. They got the crowd involved and I would estimate that 99% of the people at the reception were on the dance floor for the entire time Soul Jam played. Even two of my four-year-old nieces who were supposed to be in bed at the house snuck away from their babysitters to come back out to the reception because they were having so much fun dancing. I could go on and on about how good they were and the amount of amazing feedback we got about them, but I think I've basically covered it! In the event that someone inquires about booking a band, I will give them your information in a heartbeat. Thank you for helping us arrange the Souljam booking!

Besides marrying the love of my life with all of my best friends and family, souljam was the best part about my wedding! They were incredible and such a crowd pleaser. I wish they could have played until 3 am because everyone would have stayed for them. I want to also recognize them for making the sound needs available at my actual ceremony when my string quartet failed to. 11/10 recommend. Thank you souljam!!

Oh my goodness - SoulJam, as per usual, was incredible. Not only do they make incredible music, but their performance keeps the audience engaged and the energy high! Our family and friends raved about them. They were definitely the highlight of the night. We knew they would be! Glenn was also such a joy to work with throughout the planning process. After they wrapped up I had to give each band member a big hug because they are just that awesome.

It's hard to describe with words just how INCREDIBLE Soul Jam was to work with, and how they MADE our reception! We booked Soul Jam for our wedding reception at Market Hall (downtown Raleigh) this past September. From the beginning, when we were reviewing band clips and videos, we selected Soul Jam because of their sound, music selection, and seemingly captivating and interactive stage presence based on their sample videos. We also chose to add the two additional brass members. Soul Jam far exceeded anything we could have hoped for. At this point, we've lost track of how many friends and family members specifically called out how amazing the band was after our wedding. Many remarked that it was the best live band they had ever experienced at a wedding. The band's ability to engage the audience and create a fun, lively atmosphere made our reception incredibly enjoyable for all. A couple of highlights -- amazing energy, interactive and got everyone on the dance floor the whole time, they hit all of the notes, and what was even more impressive was they had coordinated dance moves, and not just one, but multiple members of the band can SING! I think this is what allows them to be able to cover such a wide range of music genres flawlessly. Souljam was also able to learn not just one, but two! songs for us that weren't on their song list within a really short turnaround time before our wedding, which I believe speaks volumes to their skill and expertise. Additionally, from booking to the day of, we want to also give Glenn a shout out - he was super easy to work with, and everything was seamless. Overall, Soul Jam delivered an unforgettable performance that had our guests on their feet and dancing the night away. Their energy, talent, and incredible repertoire of songs had the entire room grooving. Their ability to read the crowd and keep the dance floor alive made our reception a truly memorable event. BOOK THEM! and be prepared to be blown away.

We worked with Reid Farber to select our wedding band! We were in panic mode, 3 months out when we were put in contact with Reid. He put together a short list of great options in no time, based on our preferences and budget. I don't think we could have gone wrong with any of them. WOW! Souljam could not have been better!! They were hired to play for my husband's surprise 60th birthday party at our local country club. From the first, they were incredibly professional and the staff at the club said they were excellent to work with. Souljam was amazing! We wanted a band that would keep people dancing all night and they did not disappoint. Every single one of our guests were on the dancefloor for the majority of the reception. We could not have been more pleased with their performance, they really know how to put on a good show! They have a wide variety on their set list and they really paid attention to what we were looking for on our wedding day, we give a 10/10! We had a great experience working with Reid Farber from the booking agency! He was very quick to respond and listened to everything we were looking for in a wedding band. We wanted a band that would keep everyone dancing all night and Reid did not disappoint when he recommended Souljam, they had everyone on their feet grooving. We will definitely be using the booking agency in the future and will be seeking out Reid again, he even followed up and congratulated us after our big day!

BEST, BEST, BEST band I have ever had at an event. I am pretty sure I danced every single song. Not only was the music fabulous, the singers were amazing and fun. Everyone in the band looked like they were having the best time. So many people have commented to me that it was the best party and in my opinion, the band was GREATLY responsible for that. I don't have enough positive words to say. I would recommend them to anyone and would hire them again in a heartbeat. I am so grateful and thank everyone so so much. When we began planning this wedding, the band was the most important piece of the big puzzle for me. Souljam exceeded my expectations.

A good live band was top priority for our wedding day. My vision for our wedding was for people to dance and have fun. We worked with the booking agency and they recommended Soul Jam. Soul Jam exceeded our expectations. We had so many people (all ages) up on the dance floor all night long. We continuously hear so many complements for our guest how wonderful the band was…prior to our wedding day the band manager Glen communicated with me often to ensure we had everything lined up. The entire band cares about what they do and they have the talent to match, not to mention the dance moves! Really, really good synchronized dance moves that we all attempted to learn! Rest assured, if you book SoulJam they will boogie down with you all night long! They have a FANTASTIC song selection and are so easy to work with. Our wedding just totally wouldn't have been the same without Souljam. Utilizing their talents for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception was absolutely the way to go. I would refer them 100 times over to anyone I know who gets married. All of our guests had a blast singing and dancing along to Souljam. Glenn and his team were so professional, and did everything they could to make us and our guests have the best day ever. We even delayed our ceremony a bit to see if the rain would die down, and it did - and we continued as planned. But I have no doubt in my mind that Souljam can adapt to whatever challenges or modifications the "Big Day" requires. That is a huge plus in my book, because we all know things happen! So in conclusion, Austin, myself, and our guests had the best day ever from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception because of Souljam....they can do it all, and they do it so well!!

SoulJam was incredible. We seriously had tons of people tell us comments like, 'best wedding we’ve ever been to' (largely which we contribute to the bands energy and performance because they carried the night home for us), people asking for the bands information for their own wedding, many said they’ve never seen a wedding where this many people were on the dance floor for that long aka, all night once the band starting jamming, and simply put just how amazing the band was. They helped make our wedding over-the-top crazy fun! Even through rain plans and massive switching of plans, they made everything flow easy for us and let us sit back at the end of the night to just enjoy everything. At one point I was tired during the wedding and I asked Glen if we could simply do cake cutting, bouquet toss, and some of our planned dances immediately and just knock it out. Without hesitation he said absolutely and transitioned us into these events without 2nd thought. Also before the ceremony started when I was waiting with my stepdad and was very nervous, I simply said can you sing something and they just busted out a song and helped ease my nerves with a sweet acoustic melody. Seriously, they were amazing but they brought more to our wedding day than just good music.. they brought awesome energy, peace for me and my husband, but most importantly THEY BROUGHT THE FUNK. Would highly recommend the band to others and will definitely seek them out for our 20 year vow renewal... yes, we are already thinking about that because that’s how much they blew us away!!!

The band was AWESOME! They totally exceeded my expectations. Everyone is still talking about them, my father is trying to plan another event so he can have them come back. We've had several weddings at our house and this is the only time we've ever had the majority stay until the end. People said it was like they were at a concert!
