The band was awesome! Honestly if we could have had them + the DJ play until 1am no one would have left the dance floor. They read the crowd perfectly and had such a great song list. The jazz trio was perfect and the second line musicians were so fun! That was my first time working with Surround Sound and I would highly recommend them in the future.

My daughter had wanted high energy and Surround Sound most definitely brought that for their entire uninterrupted performance--both through their music and choreography. While a great many of the guests spent their time on the dance floor, those that didn't told me later how fun it was to simply watch the band perform. And, from a father-of-the-bride's perspective, I can tell you that they are thoroughly professional and a true pleasure to deal with. If you choose Surround Sound for your wedding, you will be very glad that you did. I have heard at least 100 dance bands in my lifetime, and I can say with certainty that I have never heard a band as good as Surround Sound (hired through the booking agency). The energy, the fun, the quality of the voices, the choreographing, the overall musical talent surpassed even the best dance bands that I have ever heard. And I'm not alone on my assessment - we had numerous people tell us the same thing - all wanting the name of the band. Our guests hit the floor dancing, and never left. Surround Sound… what else can I say other than WOW! Christal was great, and so easy to work with. And you know our crowd, they are ready to get up and dance when the band starts. This group came out with James Brown, and did it right. At one point when the ladies came on stage our group stopped dancing just to focus on the show they were putting on. I’ve also never seen the dance floor as packed as it was! Will definitely add them to my list of bands to bring back for other events at the clubhouse.

After a month of recuperating from Lee Lee and David’s wedding (and reliving it when the pictures arrived today) I wanted to let you know how incredible Zack and Surround Sound were at the reception. The singlehandedly made the party a HUGE success! I have always been a music lover and concert goer but through my friendship with Eric Church and touring with them I have a new appreciation for the artist and off the stage business side. Hearing stories on the road from tour mangers, promoters, crew and musicians is something you never think about hanging out on the front row listening to a show downing your favorite beverage. I have heard all the “hot’ bands over the years at wedding receptions, NC deb ball, Coral Bay Club and all the country clubs from Charlotte to Wilmington and all the other usual stops they make over the years. Hands down Surround Sound is already every bit as good as any of them. But what I was most impressed with is the way Zack carries himself and the band was a total reflection of that in everything they did from the minute the pulled in the driveway. As they were unloading Saturday morning two of the Carolina Inn banquet staff made a point to come tell me; “Mr. Lyon, I don’t know how they are gonna sound but they are by far the NICEST people to work with we have ever had here”. And that is the way I felt, and Lee Lee felt from the moment we talked to Zack the first time on the phone. His (and the band's) professionalism and desire to do anything we wanted to make our reception the best ever was amazing. The entire band and their performance was incredible. I still have people stop me and say it was the best reception they have ever been to and who was the band? And they did it was a smile and nonstop energy. Too many times I see these “big time” bands putting on their show and not engaging the crowd. We all felt like we were part of the show and it was one big happy family. I sure felt like we got and incredible value with Surround Sound based on what I have seen from other bands and I hope they are on their way to bigger paydays soon. Not just because they are a great band but because they do it the right way with integrity and pride and are NICE people! Thanks for everything,

First a HUGE THANK YOU for your A cappella version of “Joyful, Joyful” at the church! The March 10, 2018 wedding for our daughter and her fiancé was held at Watercolor, Florida with Surround Sound as the band for our reception. We had a great experience working with Kaitlin at the booking agency for our recent wedding in Lake Tahoe, CA. Kaitlin helped us find the perfect band for our event – Surround Sound. They were phenomenal! My wife and I cannot say enough good things about Zack and Crystal and the entire band. The group was professional, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. And most of all – they are extremely talented and played their hearts out to make our wedding truly unforgettable. The band even learned a special “2nd Line” song (a New Orleans tradition) to kick off the festivities. Surround Sound gave me the same feeling and excitement I felt when I first saw Party On the Moon, Simply Irresistible and Big Swing. Already, they are beyond belief….they are polished, well-rehearsed, vocally superb, incredible musicianship and they did not miss a beat for three hours non-stop. We were forced to reschedule our wedding weekend due to a hurricane and even with all of the complicated moving parts and changes, Surround Sound was able to provide us with an unforgettable event. Their band leader, Zack Reynolds is extremely thorough and was very helpful during the entire planning process. Each member of the band was enthusiastic and really enjoyed being at our wedding which was very important to me. Even though the weather conditions were less than desirable, the band never let it affect their performance. Most importantly, my guests had the most amazing time and we never stopped dancing the entire night. For the past five (5) years I have chaired the Banana Ball (the Chattanooga Zoo’s largest annual fundraiser). I have never heard more compliments on our selection of bands as I have with the performance of Surround Sound.  Surround Sound was unbelievable! Certainly the best band we’ve had at the Banana Ball – and I assure you we’ve had some darn good ones. ( The Maxx, Voltage Brothers, etc. )Shortly after setting up, they wanted to do a quick sound check. The horns went first and sounded amazing.  I knew immediately that we were in for a great evening. And we were. Their song selection was great and they played their music extremely well! They are very engaging and interacting with the audience, as well.  Surround Sound had our guests on their feet within seconds of the first note played.  Most stayed on their feet until the last song was played. We’ve never had as many people at the end of the party as we did on Saturday night!  Surround Sound was a step above them all.  We will have them again!

OMG!!! They were amazing!! Everyone loved it from the 3 year olds to the elderly. People were dancing. Military was on the stage dancing. They made the event a success!! I would like to Thank You, Surround Sound and ASL for making the family day event a success. This was my first family day at this base and I was told this event was "Top Notch" and the band set it off with the first song!! Thank you!! Thank you!
