Anya Hinkle + Tellico

Thanks so much for reaching out!  Tellico was fantastic and we really enjoyed working with Anya and the band.  They were very professional and I appreciated that they were all on time or early Tuesday morning! Dodie Stephens, director of communications here at the CVB, and I have emailed with Anya in the last few days.  We let her know that the group was a perfect fit for our event and that we'd definitely recommend them in the future.  Many bloggers were downloading their album immediately after the event!

"Thank you so much to Anya and the rest of Tellico for providing a wonderful soundtrack to our wedding day! Leading up to the wedding, we touched base multiple times to establish our timeline for the day, request a few special songs, and talk about the details of the wedding ceremony and reception. On the wedding day, Anya absolutely took care of everything we'd discussed which meant we didn't have to think about the details at all! From the acoustic music during the ceremony and cocktail hour to the plugged-in sets from the band and off our iPod playlists during the reception, we never had to worry about the music once - Anya kept everything running smoothly throughout the night. We picked Tellico because we love their "Appalachiacana" bluegrass sound and adore Anya's voice and they played their own songs beautifully, plus covered the ones we'd requested gorgeously. We can't recommend Anya and Tellico enough!"

"I suppose all musicians love making music. But I doubt you will find a group more enthusiastic about the total experience than Tellico. We invited them for a special holiday celebration and our guests were truly wowed by the music - but beyond that, the band was terrific to work with on the front end and even figured out a way to keep the party going in a downpour. It was a great experience for our family and guests - and Anya, Stig, Jed and Aaron are welcome back, anytime."

"We came across Anya in our research for a wedding reception band online. As soon as we heard her voice we knew she would be perfect for the overall feel of our wedding. We met with her over a year in advance because we were planning from out of state; she is such a kind and warm person. Coming up to the wedding, she kept in contact with us and updated us on the details. The day of, the entire band was so nice and professional. They even played our playlist on their sound system in between sets and Anya made a few announcements for us. Their music, look and feel was EXACTLY what we wanted and all of our guests had a great time! They also took the time to learn/create their own version of our first dance song request as well as a few of our other favorite songs. We would highly recommend Tellico as your wedding musicians."

"We hired the band Tellico to play during our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception last fall. Working with the band and their main contact Anya was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. I was planning our wedding from out of town, but Anya made this process very simple. We spoke over the phone and emailed several times leading up to the event (she was always very quick to respond and even reached out to me proactively as we got closer to the event). She was incredibly professional and her depth of experience in performing at private events was obvious, she had thought of everything! I needed some guidance selecting the right instrumental songs for the ceremony, so she sent me samples of MP3 recordings that we could choose from, in addition to an offer that the band would learn songs we had in mind if they weren't already in the band's repertoire. They played a three piece acoustic set leading up to the ceremony, as well as for our processional and recessional music, and a full acoustic set during the cocktail hour, and then after dinner and toasts etc, (during which Anya offered to coordinate Microphone use for the toasts and play my choice of background ipod music through their sound system, which was great!) the band played with their full sound set-up as the dance party started! Anya and the rest of the band were completely professional and incredibly talented and FUN musicians. After dancing the night away, all of our guests commented on how great the music had been and asked if the band played other gigs around town so that they could go enjoy seeing them play again. I highly recommend this band as they were wonderful to work with, and helped make our wedding the incredibly unique and special experience that it was."
